Combines Sieves

What sieves do you currently have. I have the deep tooth wide space top, short tooth sieve for second and a round hole that is in front of bottom sieve. It is really for corn, but I leave it in because I run the front section on top mostly open all the time. The bottom sieve then has the rear section deep tooth for the returns. I'm not totally happy with this setup as I have combined some 17-19% soybeans and have trouble keeping in the unthreshed pods with such a short length for getting them into the returns. I would like to know if someone is running a 2 sieve setup and how it has worked for them. Thanks

I have the HS poly sieve in a 2188 and it does not impress me. They are thick louvered and tend to lodge corn or large grain in them. Never ran the Airjet. If it were mine I go with the lowen replacement, They were one of the first to have the nice notched setting handles and the nylon bushings on the wires, which do not seem to bind in my experiences.

For conventional sieves, the loewen is my favorite too. I prefer the adjustable airfoil style. I've heard the sample with the Airjet chaffer is impressive, but have not tried it.

Had plastic sieve in bottom, I guess it is properly called the clean grain sieve. It fell apart on me and the sieve parts went up the clean grain elevator and into the bin. It started really slow so didn't notice all the parts till I started to unload, I wouldn't buy one of them. I purchased a normal sieve for bottom and bought Gorden air jet chaffer for top. The sample is great and the frame is heavy. Only downfall is time wasted changing sections when flopping between corn and beans in fall.
