I agree. The perception that the MF is simpler I believe stems from its fewer number of parts, grease zerks, belts, etc. Now those components aren't necessarily easier to service or access than those on a Gleaner, but there are fewer of them. If I had my choice, I'd rather work on the Gleaner for accessibility (except for the rear feed chain...) The axial concept does lend itself to higher throughput rates than the transverse, and that is probably what AGCO is thinking of for future larger machines.
