I'll let a Gleaner expert answer on the F2 but my neighbor said it was a comparable machine to the 4400. There were a lot of 4400s and F Gleaners near my farm 20 years ago. Grain tank capacity without extensions is 72 bushels and full extensions is 102. I have modest extensions so realistically maybe 80 bushels. I am guessing it will take 2 1_2 dumps to fill a 250 bu hopper. Cylinder diameter is 22 inches. It has 4 straw walker assemblies with 5 steps for an area of approx. 30 square feet. Weight wise around 13,000 pounds with head and no grain. I figure an additional 60 pounds a bushel for soybeans or corn. So loaded with full fuel (45 gallons) around 18,000 pounds.

They're pretty close. The Deere may have a little more capacity, but I prefer the Gleaner to own or operate. Quieter cab, easier to fix and a little more reliable. Next to my M2, our F2 was our lowest cost machine to operate.
