The neighborhood got together and harvested a neighbors beans this fall. There were two 2388's and one 9650. The 2388's had 20' heads and the 9650 had a 25' head. The CIH combines should have had bigger heads. But our R62 had a 30' head, ours had been hyperized, but we all went the same speed, I was told by the JD guy that we had the most capacity with out question, because of the size of our flex head and he felt we were going faster.

Wife's uncle has a 2388 that is 2 yrs old and my 1982 N6 hyperized makes that Case look sick. He runs about 2_3 to 3_4 the ground speed that I do in the same field, corn or soybeans. And on uphill inclines he starts to throw corn out the back. The neighbor has a 9750STS and is able to keep up when it isn't getting fixed. Third year running that he can't keep it running for very long. The R62 has more power than my N6 so it should out perform it. Very few internal changes between them.
