Thanks lOl AZCUTTER. Is the 470R a dual rotor machine like a CTS or CRIJIJ I believe the machine they are going to demo is a single rotor machine like a STS or 2388.

Its probably the massey rotor with the cat name does it say challenger on it.

Ill have to check my brochure on the new agco built challenger, but I think the new 470 is the class 7 massey with a cat C9 engine. Where are you locatedIJ I sure would like to see the new challenger run in some wheat this summer. If it is the Agco machine it will have a hydro rotor drive, after you see it corect me if im wrong.

You must understand, and I will be perfectly clear, so that there isn't any confusion, the brand name "Cat" will not be prominently featured on any combine that is not manufactured by Claas (example, Cat lexion). The Massey "Challenger" combine is simply an axial configured rotor, based upon the WFE design (i.e., White 9700). The lexion 470 is a class 7 twin rotary separation combine.
