Duke, With the addition of more Hp and the 3 speed box the rotor now has more torque. Any uneven feeding distorts the rotor cage and streches the sides of the machine (cracking the grain pan). I mentioned the vanes because that's what we found when we replaced the rotorhousing and right hand bracket (both were cracked) Check to see if the bolts that hold the right bracket (from rotor housing to combine frame) are still in, especially the one that the wireloom bolts to. I didn't notice any vibration and I looked from the front of the rotor (under the cab) and could not tell the were bent. What I noticed seemed to me to be tough soybean vines hammering through the rotor (like they were bunching up).Which they were. I've got about 300hr on this 2388 with my horseshoe piece in hopefully it will do the trick.
