Combines slow responding Hydraulics F2

There is a releif valve that is adjustable in the variable speed valve. The spring will get weak in the cartridge. In the front of the valve just above the spool you will find a flat screw driver slot plug that can be turned in . You may have to remove the cartridge assy to get it to turn. Put in a vice, apply a lITTlE heat to break the loctite. Turn in a half turn at a time to get the result you need. Don't go over 350n. Also pull the hose out of the top of the valve front. looking down into the threads you will see a snap ring that holds in an orfice plate. Blow this out or remove and flush if you suspect foreign material blocking the orfice.

Thanks we will give this a try. Today we switched the hoses to the valve for the variable speed reel and found some increase in the response. We give this a try and see what happens.
