well i was going to say put your concave on 5 slow rotor too 280 or 300 while going threw it see if that works

I have had it down to 280. still cob bits. just got into the corn tonight, surprised how dry it was. thanks

Well im actually fighting the same thing one combine is set like me and has no cobb bits basically and im haveing just a few here and there so im sure our solution is in the sive maybe close down the front part a lilIJ i'll give it a try today

I have seen this problem in the past and if you have more then 1500 hrs on this machine, it is time to rebuild your concaves. The leading edge of your concave bars cannot be rounded. If they are it takes more rotor presure to get a good thrashing action. The increase presure, combined with a possible soft cob will cause this problem.
