The 95 would be good for that amount of land. I think it is about half the size of a 6600. Probably handle a 2 or 3 row corn head, a 10-15' grain head. It is a tiny machine but it would be good for what you are doing i guess, pretty old though. a 55, 95, or 4400 would be ok

I have been told that a 4400 is difficult to work on as compared to the 95. I reckon it's sort of like my 70 Ford truck -- easy to fix but never needs fixing, whereas newer trucks impossible (or a pain) to work on. Any ideas on worth of a 95 that runs good, some rust but been shelteredIJ Man is asking $1,200 for it. David

The square back 95 was made from 1964 to 1969. The ones with the 303 engine have 90 hp gas and diesel. The cylinder and seperator are 40 in wide. You could get a header from 12 to 20 ft width. Ours has a 16ft. You really can't go wrong with a 95. They are about the longest lasting combine ever made. We paid $700 for a 1967 95 with 2000 hrs. It was inside it's whole life and is almost in the same condition as it was rolling out the factory door. So $1200 is sort of high for me, ecspecially with some rust. But I think we were able to get ours cheap because we live in a drought area. I think the 95 would be great for your acreage.

My father just sold his 95H(hillside) last year for $1000. That price was what he could have got if he had sold it to the local scrap metal dealer. The person that bought it was going to use it on about 50 arces. It too had been sheltered and well taken care of even though it had seen many, many acres. From my perspective, that machine was worth 100 times that in just sentimental value. Broke my heart when they came and drove it away. If it's running and threshing then $1200 is just slightly on the high side. Good luck.
