The M2 has a 180 bushel bin with 130hp and can support up to a 22' grain head and a 6 row corn head. The l2 has a 200 bushel bin with 158hp and can support up to a 24' grain head and 8 row corn head. Depending on how well your corn yields some say that the M2 is or would be better with a four row corn head. I had an M with a six row head combining about 120bpa corn and it did fine. The l is almost the same exact set up only it's 10" wider, for more capacity. Hope this is what you were looking for

I have an M2 with a 6-30 corn head. Just finished some 170 bpa corn at 2.5-3 mph that the combine handled fine. It carries a 15 ft. bean head at 4-4.5 mph in 40 to 50 bpa beans. Hope this gives you an idea of what to expect on the M series. I had an F for several years but consider the M to be better designed and easier to work on. Thats been my experience, anyway. The Gleaners can probably be purchased for less than the IH for a comparable machine.

When I was looking to replace my F2 I found I could buy an N6 for same money as a M2_3 or l2_3. After hyperizing my N6 I have twice the machine but it took the upgrades to make it a decent machine.
