What type chaffer are you usingIJ Rigid airfoil, adjustable airfoil or OEMIJ If OEM style, what is the spacing between the wires the louvers attach to(deep tooth or small grain)IJ Don't know how your crop is, but thresh settings listed above appear to be OK. email if you'd like.

chaffer is owm, long finger, 1_3 open, sieve is oem is at 1_4 open or less. Today I opened concaves more. it helped.

Suggest you wire a piece of heavy cardboard (because it's flexible) about 10" - 12" wide across the top of the chaffer at the very front. This will prevent the shoe shake from forcing trash thru that area of the chaffer -- won't affect chaffer capacity, since material falling off the grain pan pretty much has the front blocked off, anyway.
