Hey Shawn, we had a good harvest run this year, probably one of the best in 40+years. I wasn't going to trade sleds since I didn't even have a 1000 miles on my '02 700 Renegade but the dealer came down $1K on the trade from last spring so I decided to trade up. This 800 Renegade is an animal. I am planning on heading out to West Yellowstone a couple times once the end of Feb and one time earlier which we haven't got scheduled yet. Would be nice if we could get decent snow around here to ride so we didn't have to haul them 1000 miles to find snow but it is usually worth it at least for the stress relief as ripped mentioned below. Have fun with the Summit's and don't highmark all the RMK's on the hill or no one will want to go riding with you.

We started running tonite at 9pm and no problem still going no ice on the sieves yet.. You must be close to being finished though Ripped aren't youIJ The snow could be worse then what it is, good thing its suppose to warm up the next couple days and get extremely cold at night.

We have had good luck combining snowy corn in the past if the temperature is under 20 degrees Fahrenheit or so. I'll let you convert that to Celsius! Just make sure you keep on checking those sieves periodically, if they do start plugging up, it will build up pretty quickly.

Hey, how have you been keeping this frusterating harvestIJ I haven't seen you at Timy's lately but you need to remember there is AlWAYS TIME FOR TIM HORTONS!!!! Yes I'm getting close to done but just picked up some more work today!! Seems like everybody wants the the big wide tires, what a difference they make!! Just a word of advice for you for your next machine!! I have been asked by one of your customers to finish the job you started but I would hate to steal one of your good customers!! I told him to sit tight and you would get him looked after just fine without me, so now you owe me a lARGE DOUBlE-DOUBlE!!! I guess he thought that it would be too wet for your machine without destroying the field. Heard that you buried your machine in Ostrander hope you didn't reck anything pulling it out. Back to the previous stealing your work issue in the October forum, it still bugs me that you think I got into your customer base when I find out later that it was Mr. Roucx who was knocking on doors in the Brownsville area. Hope this will settle the issue and we can carry on as civilized human being. Good luck with the remainder of harvest and we will see you around some time.

ripped, Sounds like you have a few more hours on those tires now. What's the verdictIJ How much more can you go throughIJ How much pressure are you runningIJ 4WDIJ Mike

Mike Hey how are youIJ Yes, we put about 200 acres on those 900's and they make a large diff. For example with my 30.5's I would sink about 12-18'' and now with my 900's I hardly sink 6'' so yea they make a world of a diff. We run 12 lbs pressure with 4wd. I would recomend a larger rear wheel but I spent enough on my two drive tires.

All is well down here....sounds better than 6" ruts anyway! Remember that 12psi is pretty low for that tire, so try to keep the grain bin emptied and put some more air in them when things dry up. Send me an email and I'll return some picks of big rear tires. If you eventually go that route, I can show you how to make them clear the return grain elevator. Mike

Hey Ripped, well this fall has been filled with everything we can ask for in terms of weather. I don't know about you but alot of my customers couldn't seem to figure out why there corn was still out in the field longer then everyone else's.. Just the simple fact of being too wet and not like alot of them thought of me being too busy for them. Just out of curiousity that customer of mine who was itIJ Im assuming RoosIJ But I know my duals will go through alot more then the stock 30.5 singles. Yes and I know that Rocx was pulling fast ones on my this fall in corn. Sometime you'll just have to join us at Tim's and then I'll buy you a coffee.. Anyways goodluck in the snow, mud, and stones.
