Yes we have been solid seeding for 4 years and it's been working good. We bought a set of lucke brand pans. They don't use a reel and wondered about that when we bought them but they said they would work better without the reel, they said the reels shell alot out, so we trusted them and bought their pans. And they seem to work great, all of our neighbors and friends have bought lucke pans too. We seeded ours on 12" spacing so you have to buy a 9" pan which leaves a 3" gap between them so they line up on our 12" rows. But if you have 15" rows you need the 12" pans. They only make the 9 or 12" pans. Hope this will help. They are manufactured in Minot, ND sorry i don't have their number handy.
