I run a 7720 for 15 years. 18 foot to 25 foot heads. Run the 25'. You can always slow down in tough conditions or take partial swaths but only go so fast till you start running them over with a small head.

Run a 25 footer. We do on our 9410, works perfect in 40 bushel beans.

I run a 224 with a Crary Air Finger Reel and works just right. Two years ago I ran a 30 footer with the Air Finger Reel and that was just a bit too big for the combine, beside too heavy - that was a lot of head! I would go with 24-25'

I have a 925 on my '88 7720, it is just right. I think you will be much happier with the 925 over the 915. You have plenty of machine.
