Sounds like you are running a standard rotorIJ If so here is my advice, speed up the rotor (who cares what the book says) until you are splitting beans and tighten up the concaves (3.5 or less) so stuff doesn't sit on them and go thru in bunches.

I have a specialty rotor, what about chafer and sieve settingsIJ

I have a air-foil chaffer thats non-adjustable, so it never changes. I usually use a 5_16 bolt for the sieve. It's just right for average size beans. Just tweak it a little for very small or very large soybeans.
