We go 5.5 mph to 6 mph in 230 to 250 bu_ac corn at 15% moisture. With our 2388 and 1083.

You should help that guy in the post below because he cant even run 3 mph in 200bu. corn and your running 6 in 250bu corn.I would say how fast I run with a 12 row on a R72 but the first guy dont have a chance. Illinois Gleaner

We run 4-4.5 in 200 bushel corn.If you run 6 in 250 bushel corn you must not look behind the combine

Very little because I dont push it so I can say I run this fast or that fast. I usually run 3.7 to 4.0 with very very little loss and I know a R72 has more capacity. The only reason I responded is because who ever says a speed or a yeild or anything else some one will come up with some thing bigger or better so whats the point in saying how fast you run its all about how much you dont leave.

I am running a 12 row ready with the 1083 head. if the fodder is dry, about 5 mph in 200 bu corn. And that is leaving less than a bushel_acre behind the machine.

We can run that fast but, normally we go from 5 to 5.5 in that 230 to 250 range.
