On my M2 with a 16ft float and 50+ bu weed free about the best I was able to get was 3.5 to 4 mph on the flat and about half that even with the sidehill blower on the hillsides. l2 should do better as it has a longer and wider cleaning area, longer is the most important. My M2 with a 630 CH and 180+ corn, through the rest on the ground and you had to set stakes to see if I moved. I am a Happy Hyperized N6 owner now! M2 was a Great machine though!

I don't know how our M2 will perform yet, but I do know that one year we had a friend of ours help us get our crops off with a JD 6620 and he was moving at 6 mph in about 100-120bpa corn. Needless to say he was throwing some (alot) over the back. After reading everything on this site, those hyperized rotaries sound like they are unstoppable. Now I wish we would have went with an N6 or N7, but with the few amount of acres we run I think it would be overkill. Curt
