Combines Spocket on fan shaft on M

Bill, The sprocket on lH fan shaft is threaded onto shaft. The threads are regular RH thread so make sure you unscrew it counter clockwise. Sometimes you have to use heat to get it broke loose. Sometimes a pipewrench with a pipe extension to reach the floor on opposite side helps hold shaft from turing. I'm sure you will get it, Hyper Harvest II

A 1' length of 1" diameter brass rod and a 2lb hammer will work most of the time. If you have a few days spray a rust cutter such as PB Blaster or Kroil in the end of the sprocket.

Same on F2.My sprocket was bad so no need to save.I used an air hammer-worked great-didn't move much metal either.

neat trick is to support the shaft right at sprocket with a floor jack, apply a little heat, install a good pipe wrench on spkt with handle parallel to floor then whack it with a rather large sledge. This jack support prevents shaft bending and possible brg damage and gives a solid block to the blow. As stated before general rule of thumb is if it is threaded on the lh side it is rh threads and most threaded shafts on RH are lh threads. Few exceptions out there so check to be sure before doing damage in uncertain areas of unscrewing.

We made up sprocket with same number of teeth with nut welded to it. We then wrap some n50 double chain around both sprockets and remove with impact. Works great and prevents damage to sprocket. Take care
