there is a product developed by a Canadian farmer that replaces three of the bats on the original spreader. It consist of curved fins that throw the residue better than the original bats. I just bought mine so I really dont know how well it works, But it is cheaper than a hydraulic spreader. His phone n is 306-794-4528.

i use "the spreader". first on my 715 and now on my 1620. ran a 15' 1020 on both machines. does a nice job. Duane

Install a set of The Disrupters and scallop bars and any spreader will work better.
