Combines Spring is here

Feel fortunate Ron that you even have access to nh3.......Ours around here in Kansas is all bought up that I'm aware of and it even looks like this coming fall all of our nitrogen will be put on either liquid or dry with an applicator. My nh3 applicator is just going to collect dust and rust this year in the shed. This high input and low commodity price ought to finish off the last of the hobby farmers...I just hope we can keep holding on. Take care Deerebines

Most of the farmers around here switched over to liquid fertilizer 2or3 years ago so nh3 supply isn't a problem. They're going to scream this year liquid price has gone nuts 47cents PlUS trucking. Ron

Main reason why I always used anhydrous......cheapest form of nitrogen there was short of sowing soybeans or breaking up an alfalfa patch. I'm surprised you havn't heard the screaming clear down here in Kansas already!! *grin* Take care Deerebines

Nh3 works the best for us as we put it in as we prework.No we don't have an air seeder,we can't afford that stuff we still seed with 42 feet of CaseIH 7200 hoedrill and we prework with a 34 foot cultivator .It takes awhile to get it all done but it's cheap and it works .

We are in the East Centeral part and we have snow coming out the yin yang it started Nov.1 with 2' of snow and we haven't looked back guys around here are hoping we can get in the field by May 1st. Your right about anyhdrous prices they are 44 cents per pound full service thats alot. Well take care
