also let me know if they have an AFX Red one there too cause they had an 8010 with straddle duals at the Peoria Il show that i went to today i was wondering how many of the afx combines are floating around the country side now

mx270, will do. What do you CIH people think of the new AFX combinesIJ I have not seen one yet but I would think it is a big change form the AF(2300's). The CR is a somewhat change from the TR's and some people don't like it, is that going to be the case with the AFX alsoIJ How much different is the CR and AFX besides one rotor and twin rotorsIJ I bet I see the same AFX 8010 you saw in Peoria at St. louis. I saw an AFX 7010 at a show in Red Deer, Alberta. I was not overly impressed by the changes. They got rid of the augers under the concaves and replaced them with a grain pan. The sieves are now narrower, and the rotor is the same size. I would have liked to seen a larger rotor with the existing CIH sieve width to utilize it more effectively.

Greg, The grain pan under the rotor will be a big improvement over the auger bed. That will help with cleaning. Is not the AFX 8010 a wider body combine than the 7010IJ The New Holland CR 970 is 62" wide and CR960 52" wide and the 970 has bigger rotors also. I would think the CIH ones would be this way also. like I said I have not seen any AFX's yet so I don't really know. Ilnewholland
