Combines Stainless Steel

Asked this question about two months earlier. Someone posted a link to a company in Europe or somewhere, I can't exactly remember. What I plan on doing is having a metal shop in Jonesboro make some for me. I've had them build stainless steel elevators w_head and boot for me. Works great and I don't plan on anymore repairs there for a while. Rob

The outfit making the high wear sheet metal replacment parts out of stainless steel mentioned earlier is in Australia. Shipping might be a bit steep, but the your US dollar will go farther in Australia. Email and the internet make buying stuff overseas a lot easier, and Visa and Mastercard both work around the world.

Thanks for the help guys. I think I'm going to have a local welder come out and install some that we are going to make onsite (not stainless).

RAB the easy way is to just measure the gap you have under the augers to determine the size you are going to use remove augers covers and the augers these come out really easy now you can just overlay it to the existing metal or cut the floor out we removed the ridge cap between the two auger troughs and welded along the top then replaced the cap made it look neat.... drill holes along the high side of the troughs and spot weld them to the bottom sheet you can bolt if you like we have down all three ways and all have worked we use stainless mainly cause of the rice seem to wear out on the unloading auger side good luck
