I think the Standard Rotor can reduce your rotor loss, but I'm not sure it threshes any betterIJ I would go with the Specialty. If it needs new bars, I would go with the CIH Extenda Wear bars. They are much heavier, have a different shape, and should wear a lot longer than the chromed bars. I would also make sure you have atleast 4 straight separator bars on the back, 8 might be betterIJ

Go with the specialty. We don't have any trouble thresing wheat with ours, and we have rice spikes in.

I have a speciality rotor in a 2188. It worked perfect in wheat with Gorden bars, three cover plates and a thirty foot 1010 header. But I now run a 28" stripper head and now Case,Shelbourne, and I can not make it work worth a hoot. Randy

Thanks for the tips guys. I found a good looking specialty rotor. It has 12 Gordon bars at the front, with 4 straight seperator bars at the rear, and the little single square bars(I dont know the correct name) in all other positions. Might this setup work for hard threshing spring wheat plus field pea and flax. Any tips appreciated,as I have very little knowledge of specialty rotors or the correct Gordon bar setup. A also added a Stewart steel auger front to the specialty rotor to make it like an AFX. I wish I could post a picture of it here,I will include my E mail addy and will sent pictures to anyone who thinks they can help. TIA
