Specialty rotor will pull vines thru, but can tend to break cobs due to short length of bars. Standard rotor wll roll cobs thru without much breaking, but has a little trouble pulling vines. I'd suggest either a specialty rotor with Gorden bars installed (the angled area between the mounts helps to roll ears of corn and will still carry vines),or a rotor which we have modified and installed rasp type bars. This requires less power than other alternatives, there's no question about moving material thru and grain damage is virtually nonexistent
