The reason we cut the wheat so wet is because we plant soybeans right behind the wheat. When you have 1200 acres of wheat to get off so that you can plant beans, i would thrash the wheat at 25% moisture. The machine did a fine job and it doesnt take hardly any fuel to dry wheat.
