Combines Starting Problems

There should be a check ball in the lift pump fitting. Put an electric pump on it and that fixed mine. Also make sure your lift pump is good.

jhoag got it right. An electric fuel pump should cure the hard starting as for the starter kicking out change that starter drive before it hangs up and wrecks the flywheel. That is not a fun thing to fix good luck

I drilled out my check ball because the spring got weak and would not let fuel pass by it. Just a tip.
