It's already made. I saw the display @ AG Days in Brandon. Seems like an awfull lot of money($1700cdn)for the new kit. They say that you should see an improvement in power. Same theory as MARlINS IMPEllER BlADES. One should be able to cut existing AFX impellers w_o having to spend all that money

How does it fitIJ Do you have to torch off the existing elephant ear holders and mount the kit to that remaining cast iron piece and weld the rest to your coneIJ Is there a cone that comes with it so it is all closed in underneath those new fins just like the ones you buy from CASEIHCIJ The price doesn't look bad compared to having to buy a whole new rotor from CASEIHC, don't you thinkIJ I too would be interested in knowing how they have worked so far compared to CASEIHC.

Go to the Stewart Steel website. There are 2 Stewart Steels if you do a search. The one you want is in Canada. They have pictures there.Everything appears to be bolt on in place of the elephant ears. They do not work like the Marlins. The Marlins are an abbreviated version of the OEM impellers that propel the crop round and round while the vanes screw it on in.The AFX type flighting works like a drill bit, auger, post hole digger etc. to actually pull the crop away from the feeder chain and move it into the cage.A vast improvment in my opinion.Although it must have taken a while to get it just right.

Bolts in Elephant Ears bolt holes. Open under auger spiral, But Gleaners are like that. Check the web site for pictures. www.stewartsteel.com
