I need some help with a Stihl weed eater carb adjustment. It only starts with the air cleaner removed, and even then it runs very rich. It is hard to keep running and is smoking. What would you suggest I try?

Is there gas filter some are located inside fuel tank.
Some model have metal screen inside muffler which can clog up with carbon,wire brush cleaning or replace makes BIG differents.
