Combines still looking for a 1042

Dakota the only ones that I found were in Sask. looking on ironsearch.com which was the only search that had any 1042's. I'd probably suggest checking with the factory guy's at MacDon, they have helped us in the past find some equipment. JFarms

If I'm not mistaken the 1042 is also known as the Macdon 962, I believe Hiway service in Southern Alberta has a used 30 ft and theres also a few new 2002 model years floating around, Macdon might tell you where they went too they are a pretty good company that way. These draper headers are in no way cheap though, currently pricing them out and they are steep, 30 ft 972's listing at 55 canadian low to mid 40s cash sheesh, maybe my 1010's are just fine.

Thanks for the hint. Just browsed through ironworks. Did not find a 36' 962 with CASE adapter. If I could have the CASE adapter by itself, would help, too.

There is a 1042 sitting on a dealer lot up in Minot. Swenson RV and Eq. 800-735-5846. I don't know what they're asking for it, but it looks to be in pretty good shape.

I think finding a Case adaptor is going to be even harder to find than the header itself since most dealers that would have switched them out put them in the back row and don't advertise them. JFarms
