We have what I think is a very nice machine. 1984 JD 6620, Gilcrest 4x4, 24.5-32 90%_16.9-26 70% R-2's, corn chopper, grain loss monitor, long feeder house w_ rev., HD rear axle, 1 year on new feeder chain, elevator chains, and loading auger and box. Absolutely no rust, dents, cracks. Chopper is only 5 years old, hasn't cut much corn, it is a rice machine, but never in rice, but most in our area were ordered as rice, whether you needed it or not. Has a 216 flex, Dial a matic with easton reelwraps. Head needs seceral new skids and work under auger. Reel and auger is perfect. 23xx hrs, AlWAYS shedded and washed only when ran in the mud. Airfoil screens, top and bottom. Sat for 2 yrs on lot, new then sold. Put into service in 1987. We simply wish it had 8820 on the side. We need a little more machine. Please reply if interested.

Hey, VA..how's the 6030IJ Taken any pictures yetIJ On the 6620..do not get a titan 2..I can't explain it, but an 84 was the last good year, whole bunch of strange things has gone wrong with all 85 and newer machines. No 6620 at any sale around here in west Iowa has brought more than 12 or 13 grand. Shame, they will push a 6 row head and deliver over 1000 bush. corn_ hour with on the go unloading. I have an 84 Sidehill with almost 3K hours and I suppose I will have to run it another ten years since it is practically worthless. I really don't care for the 9000 series at all though...

Maybe I should come to Iowa to get a combine. Was at a sale the other day, and they sold a 1981 6620, with about 4,000 hrs on it. The thing had sat outside, and had rust holes in the graintank, and the sheetmetal on the sides of the combine was starting to rust through. The engine did run good, but when I engaged the thresher something up around the feederhouse clunked and banged like a bearing was going out. and the back end of the thing danced around because something, probably one of the straw walkers was out of balance. Thge corn head was completely worn out. The only thing about it that was decent was the 915 flex head. Some fool paid $21,000 for that rig!!! They also sold two ragged 4430s that had 9,000 plus hours on them and both of them brought $13,000.

I have a 6620 Titan II 2975 hrs 4x4,big 30.5l tires, axle extensions, extended clean grain auger, hopper extensions, new concaves, sieves, rasp bars, and many other parts. This machine has lived inside and is waxed at least once a year. This machine has absolutly nothing wrong with it and looks new. It gets inspected every year and is ready for harvest now. If you come see it and don't agree that it is the best condition 6620 with over 2,000 hrs I will pay your expenses. I live in southern Indiana. I am asking 25,000
