Harvest got pretty well done here in Saskatchewan. But you could have our weather this morning (Jan 4th) it was 34 below, with the wind chill it was 43 below and we had about 8 inches of snow on Dec. 30th then another 8 or so inches on Jan 1st. There still is some crop out but it won't be done until April or May. Hope it dries out for you

just be patient the time will come and the conditions will be just right and you can just go. we had 20 acres of down corn that i thought we would never get. the root balls pulled out and the dirt would plug the machine (1660) from corn head to feeder throat to concaves to grates. then finally the ground froze up and it worked pretty good because the roots froze down. i realize i didnt have ice and snow to deal with but my point is its not worth ruining a machine. i'd rather sacrifice some yeild even if you lost a little more than the parts were "worth"

Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like it is coming too soon. Even with the deep freeze we are in in Illinois, they are talking about 40 by Monday!
