Farmertony, what is different about the 2388's paint now....and did you get any pics IJ Thanks, Happy New Year

Farmertony,iwas wondering what the difference was in the paint jobsIJ I traded a 2004 2388 for a new one.My dealer said the 2005's are all sold, he said mine would be 2006 i won't get until late summer. Hope they don't change to much. Thanks.

I know they are not painting the Hose's and the pulleys That should help from getting that paint in there and burning belts on some occasions(not many but it happens) id also like to know what else is painted.. i heard a story but that sounded kinda ugly maybe even the engine compartment black yuck. i like mine red...easier to see spills or well everything for that matter

I heard the black story as well nothing I could see from the ground. pait job is a lot better no orange peel I could see

Talked with some of the CNH big wigs awhile back and the paint scheme for the 05 2388's will be like the 8010 red on the outside and everything under the shields will be black. All the pulleys, belts, hydraulic lines, and bolts will not be painted. They had a reason can't recall what it was right now. I do agree with you that it will be even harder to see under the shields because it was dark enough when it was red.

nothing black I saw and it sure was a 2005 in the metal. lines are not painted or bolts but the rest I saw is red
