Combines Strange 9750 story

D@n*If that is true, well then........D%*@. Thats somthing to look into since i would like to to a bigger combine then my 1688 and 2188. Thanks for the story.

That will probably be typical of these new John Deere combines. The reliable and durability will not be there like you think it should be. I wouldn't be surprised if these combines are being thrown together just to fill the orders.

There could have possibly been some bind in the machine sincce the chain was probably jammed in the sts module and when they yanked the chain around and moved the machine, then binding occured and the glass shattered. Just a guess as wild as this story. 95

Check for footprints on the bits of glass. Maybe he was "venting", and smart enough not to kick the harder parts of the machine. -)

I agree with Ohio Orange. And while he kicked the windshield out he cursed and shouted, "I wish I had bought the 2388!!"

We were cosidering buying a 9750 but agter reading some of these stories I'd consider it a health hazard to stand beside one.
