John: You are right in that the crop flows around the rotor, but I think they were refering to an endwise feed rotor that is more likely to twist or braid the material causing bunching, bucking, etc. In the Gleaner rotors, the crop essintially stays in the same plane as it makes its route around the rotor. Someone else will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the C-62 is a conventional (non-rotary). When I first heard of them, they were supposed to be assembled in Mexico and imported here.
