We found 3 croquet balls and most of a mallet in the rock trap after running soybeans this year.

Have found parts of 'hedge' posts, a chunk of rusty 4" channel iron, my 14" Rigid pipe wrench, and yes even rocks. Fortunately not all these were found in one season. Stone traps have worked in all cases except one. Picked up nice 6" granite specimen. Was to big to lay down in trap. It was caught inside the cylinder [no filler plates]. Getting that stone out was a story all in itself.

A guy I know picked up a discer blade in his TR 98. Completely gutted it. The noise made him jump out of his seat.

I found a rotary hoe wheel between the cylinder and the concave. Took quite a bit of time to get that fished out. I also found a 3_4in fence post between cylinder and concave. I have know idea why that didn't start a fire it was chewed over half way through by the time cylinder stopped. We also collected a turtle in the rock trap in northern texas this year.

after selling a sts this year I was giving the buyer a run over it explaining you should check the rock trap often, when I hit the lever a wooden fence post fell out, quite embarressing. Their a great idea though a guy i know had just finished putting all the helcoil bars back in a 2388 after swallowing a rock, he had used a hydrolic jack to line the rotor up with the bearing and was so keen to get back in the field he engaged the machine with the jack still in there and had to repeat the whole process again
