I just got done talking to a guy who had the dealer replace his wore out chopper by the new wide spread chopper, that is on the R-series. He was tired of replacing woren out pieces. He and other people told me that the clean grain handling system wears out very fast. He had his augers replaced several times, including the unloader. From our experience and other people's experience the 2002 air cleaner assembly is by far the better one. The rotoray screen drive is another weak spot. That's why it is replaced by a hydraulic drive running it back wards on the R-series. On the 480 the feed chains seem to last longer since they are split in two separate chains. I hope you've got plenty of warranty with your purchase.
