Since you are thrashing a grain that is heavy, 60 lb_bushel, I would think you could increase your cleaning fan spead to over 900. Have you tried thatIJ JK

Kenny, the concave setting is a bit relative to the last time the pointer was zeroed in so a number one setting can have some varience. If you are getting all the lower grains thrashed out of the head you might try opening the concave a little.This will allow a little less straw damage to start with. Close the lower seive and turn up the air until you are blowing out grain.This is a situation where one of the fan deflecters really helps out.

If I take the fan speed up much more I tend to blow grain over the sieves. Never thought of opening the concaves a bit. Most wheat in this area is running 70-85bu_A.

Here's another idea. Install part No. 1319258C1 or part No. could be 1319259C1 "Cover-chaffer" this is installed just behind the augers off the shaker pan above the wire fingers. low cost but this dumps the grain and MOG farther on the sieves and this is where the air starts to lift everything.. Maybe the straw is getting into the clean grain auger before the air blast can even get a chance to start cleaning.....JK
