Combines Straw rows after 850

Seems like when we had the 750 and wanted to bale behind it we had to bolt on some sort of attachment that narrowed up that windrow. Nothing fancy, two sheets of tin attached to the sides of the backend of the machine that taper in towards the bottom to make the windrow narrower. Your only other options could be just spread it and then come back in and rake into windrow sizes you want or plainly bale what was spread. Take alot longer but in heavy heavy straw I have seen guys locally do that with older square balers that can't handle pushing in the material.

Same thng as what Deerebines said - Some pieces of sheet metal to form a sort of "chute".

Thanks for the replies. Made some plywood side curtains which let straw to fall in a row narrow enough to allow easy baling. Doug
