You can give tbran a try, he had some dual spreaders for sale, we bought a couple of those spreaders from him and they do help, and they are pretty easy to install.

Hi: Had the same problem with my 98 R72,easiest fix we found is to raise hight of paddles. I have oversized rubber on the back so I had to cut the paddle lenght all the way back to the pan. I then bolted on a pieces of poly 8 in. high rounded off to the centre shaft. I had to backoff angle on two paddles because straw was now landing in the wheat on the right hand side. The pattern is now centre over a 22 ft.swath, not perfect but better than I ever did with original equipment. Goodluck Hald.

Is there a chance you could post some picturesIJ This sounds like a pretty good idea. Thanks. Mike

I had a Straw Storm on an N6. Neighbors would ask where the straw went after I was done. It would throw but most that was left on a dry day was chaff. One day a bearing broke and I disconnected it. It was amazing the amount of power the unit consumed. Too much with anything other than SHARP blades. I still have the gearbox for a future project, maybe a grass mower.
