Call 270 885 7333 ask for larry. He has sold several stripper headers. BTW the Gleaner is a better stripper header, not from us Gleaner guy's hype but from Deere and Case former owners of Shelbourne. lbran knows the reasons.
tbran, I'm just curious where you are from. I buy parts from BandG. I like them very much. They treat me like there best customer eventhough we only farm 200 acres. There mechanic is good too.
thanks, that would be lbran larry Brannon and Nathan Klopfenstein , thats not the way you spell it but it is better than kadiddlehopper - The Hopkinsville area host some BIG farmers. We feel you guys are just as important as the high rollers. natek and company are pretty sharp. I am old, grey and at the BandG Paris Tn store.
Sorry got real busy. We have really short thin wheat in NW Kansas. Need the straw to keep the top soil from blowing away so I can plant corn next spring. Some of the wheat around will be ready end of this week if it is hot. Should make a deal on a 24 foot shelbourne tomorrow. Will plan to sell as soon as harvest is over. If any on is interested. Still looking for help. Planning to put in filler bars to keep grain from all landing on the right side of the shoe. Does that sound like a good idea.
I've only ran one in rice with the roller. You can go up to 6 of 7 miles an hour. Maybe faster..it just depends. I like to have the middle of the stripper just below the heads. The dome has to be where its just leaning over the heads. You don't want to push it down. You made the right choice in the MF head. I ran a new Shelby rice head and the MF was just better. I thinks its because of the roller. It just feeds better and has way more suction than the Shelby. It will actually suck water up off the ground. I had a few acres of down rice and choked the returns up with wet rice because I had gotten too close to the ground.
