Combines STS Fuel Problem

A friend of mine had the same problem on a JD 6400 tractor. The JD service said that the problem is the electronic fuel pump. He replace the pump and the tractor rum good again. I don't know if this combine had an electric fuel pump, ask you JD service. Good luck

We have had trouble with the breather pipe being blocked and not allowing air in to replace fuel being used.The signs of this is lack of power and to the extent of being really bad,would stall.Maybe this might help.

the fuel suction line in the tank is bending up because the vent system is junk. the plastic tank due to lack of air sucks up on the bottom and bends the suction tube up so high it sucks air. there is no electric fuel pump like the 20series have.replace the tube but make sure the tank is not deformed on the bottom first.jd dealer has a kit that is supposed to fix this problem.
