I heard that the 9750STS uses something like 12 gallons per hourIJ I know that a TR can do way better than that.

12 gal_hrIJIJ Not around here. We had a demo of a 9750 STS this fall and the dealer told me they have been avging between 15-16 gal_hr. We probably have alot more straw here than you, but the way the price of fuel is going, can you afford to run this machineIJ We also demo'ed a TR98 and were not to pleased with it at all. Those rotors are running so fast that gad help you if you ever get a stone through there!! If you ask me, the best combines are either the 2388, or Cat. This is coming from someone who has owned Gleaner since '83.
