Combines swathing dry beans

There are a lot factors that play into this...What kind of beans are we talkingIJ Navy_Pinto_Kidneys If they can gaurantee loss less than 2-3 bushel I would go for it due to the speed and wear factor on the combine. Timing is everything, however they have been doing it for years in Canada. No dirt running through a 200K combine would be a big plus. Good luck

I've done it a couple of years on narrow-row black beans with very good results. Adjusted the header to a more aggressive angle to "shave" the ground. I lost very very little. 25' 8825 CIH swather. Careful of the "experimenting". That may cost you more than anything.
