20 is overkill; 2 on each bat are all you need. You may have to shorten them depending on how high your reel is. Sweeps should just hit the tips of the sickle when the reel is in the normal operating position. I run my reel just high enough to clear the sickle so sweeps were about 3 too long. let us know how they go for you.
