Combines Taking out the wires in R62

Dusty, Remove the access door on Sep. side. Use a chiesel to start the wires sliding out to the rear and then grab ahold with a vise grip to finish pulling them out. Due to uneven number of wires and fore aft ribbing under the grate you will be removing approx. every other wire. There may be a couple of spots that there is a wire next to fore aft ribbing and that is OK. On a rare occasion the wire gets a spot of weld holding it in and must be cut. I don't think extending helical into discharge will help you a bunch on chopping straw but I don't think it will hurt. I do think sharpened sickle knifes in place of standard chopper concave knifes does help but not as much as I would like. My next try is going to be speed her up and duck down fast if a blade comes off. let me know how you make out in whatever you try. Dan
