Combines talk about a true green fan

I have had lots of chances to buy some nice Gleaners, when I worked at an AGCO dealer. The OlD Deeres are the only ones for me. The 4400 I bought this year, has some nice options, but the 55 is soooo much easier to work on, not that I've worked on it much. I'm looking at a 105 in Ohio. I have been offered a nice F2 Gleaner with heads for a good price, but I'd pay extra to bring the 105 (hydro-diesel) to central Il. good day Steve

Are you talking about Shawn DolengerIJ I some fields over in South Bar. I have seen his farm a few times and I have seen that 9500, he really does take good care of it. The combine seems to have no body rust or dents. I want to know his secret on how to keep a combine look so good for so long.

I think he has been sniffing some green paint too! Around here you would be lucky to get $65,000 for that machine.

I don't go too much on color, I usually go by what will do the best job for me. I think the 55JD was the best machine at the time but if your talking a 105 JD and a Gleaner F2, undoubtedly take the F2!!!!!!!!!!! As for the 9500, I think too that is way overpriced, I think now that JD went to rotary the old 9400_9500_9600 are only going to lose value immensely. My $.02! ;-)
