I am a little confused. The wire to the trans lube switch shoud be open unless there is pressure and this turns the light on. Grounding the wire turns it off when the switch closes and grounds.
So basically your telling him to unplug module and check continuity of trans pressure wire to ground. Make sure you are on a good ground. If there is continuity unhook wire at trans sender. If still continuity to ground trace the harness to see where it is damaged and wire grounding out. Never had any F2s or 3s around hear but I'm sure that earlier module is wired for trans pressure if wire is there. Could have it checked in module tester if dealer has one. Good luck
thanks, guys. I figured it out. The early module will not work. I had a problem in the circuit board of the F3 module and fixed it. It works fine now. The F2 must not have that function in the module wired in somehow. Take care and thanks again, thor
