Combines TBRAN DAN HYPER 2 oil in coolant cleanup

DAWN dishwashing soap mixed with straight water is what we have used. It may take a couple of flushings to get oil from system.My concern of oil in the sytem would be the o-rings on sleeves. Oil can react with them making the sleeve grow tighter towards piston. Hyper Harvest II

That DAWN is sure some great stuff. We use lots of it to wash machinery. I might have to try in an oily cooling system someday. My favorite for oily cooling systems has been auto dishwashing liquid. Takes a couple flushes but seems to do the trick. By the way hyper I have a guy that is setting up his N6 for corn only. He has standard helicals shimmed out 1_4" threwout. Seems as though this positions helicals very close to cylinder bars and there does not seem to be enough distance between helicals to roll whole cobs. Is this where you prefer channel iron helicals at less of an angle so you would have more room between helicals and the positive flow advantage of channel helicalsIJ Thanks

I would crack the drain hose on the engine oil sump deain and let it drain about a tea cup full slowly - watch for anti freeze. Hopefully you will find none. The oil cooler must have fractured previously. An o ring would not have caused this and it is about the only way outside a cracked block or pinhole in an oil galley it could have gotten in the radiator. Electrolysis usually puts coolant in the oil pan. HYII 's instruction will get rid of the oil, if it is not still seeping. Anytime the cooler is susupect, simply remove hoses and plug the lines then crank and watch for oil coming from cooler nipples, let me rephrase that - oh nevermind.

What is this auto dish washing liquid IJ Down here in Tn we use lye soap and a wash board for clothes and let them dawgs lick the dishes, would this 'dawn' harm the houndsIJ

I doubt it would harm the hounds any. You might want to refrain from letting them eat anything that would give them gas after licking the dishes - or you may end up with some interesting bubble-makers. I can just see you at the shop, customer walks in, asks about the houn' dog, and you grab his tail, pull it off too the side, and watch the magic happen. Great entertainment for the kids! look at it this way, you wouldn't need tracking collars for them!

no kidding, a customer came in last week with 5 dogs in the cab. they all just sat in their place waiting patiently while he bought some filters. they all turned their heads to watch him get in the cab, then when he got in they just looked straight ahead, they looked to the rear as he backed up them back straight ahead as he drove off. hmmm

Same thing happened to me. When I bought the F2 there was a little oil in the coolant. I did not think anything of it. We cut 125 acres of beans then switched to corn. We made it 2 rounds around the first field when the engine exploded. There was nothing salvageable in the bottom of the engine. We pulled a motor off of another F2 that had been on fire and made one out of two. AGCO price for the short block was around $8000 but they are unavailable. My suggestion is that you get the motor out and rebuild ASAP because those 201 blocks are not that easy to find.
