Well, the yield sensor would have to mount in one of the four available spigots. They come equipped with two gps antennas unless they were dehorned, in which case the tail might work. My biggest problem is backfeeding cuds - I just wish they would go down and stay there! By the time they have been backfed a few times, the crop gets ground to a pulp!

Sounds like they need some improvements to the feederhouse and header. Now how to mount the channel iron to the headerIJ I suppose some of that 4inch flighting might help. I figure there are 4 places for the shocks to go, but I've heard welding doesn't work too well.

Maybe you should install a lightbar system on the tip of their noses. That way they know how to keep it on the straight and narrow. But, it would take a special model since they associate green with the crop not tans, browns and golds as with other machines. Blue lights would be a great choice. If you are brave enough to change the batteries, Maybe someone who posts here could adapt some shocking collar that is used on dogs to keep them in. A solar cell mounted near the directional antenna may help extend battery life. We've gone to high tensile fence. Easier on the cars and trucks that drive through it all the time. Easier to repair also. Doug
