Step one, take antihistamine Step two, wet down the rolls from the top Step three, either don raincoat or wait a few minutes Step four, remove top chaffer Step five, lay plywood or thick cardboard on seive and climb in Step six with inpact wrench loosen bolts and remove old lug bars and reinstall new ones opposite each other. Not that bad a job. Note that the holes are not symetrical.

I thought you was a man, Tbran! WaterIJ Just blow her out good, wear eye protection and hope it didn't have milo through it last. And what is with taking the chaffer outIJ Are you needing your MIl to help you in thereIJ :) Usually just throw a piece of cardboard in there along with the lug kit and go after it. If you are working on a 96 or newer (long shoe) and you weigh over 220, it does get kinda of snug in there. Not a good job on a 100 degree day at the start of wheat harvest.

oh jeez, I will not sleep for a month. You have caused me to have nightmares about being pin'd in the shaker shoe with the MIl. But that is about as bad as what happened about 3 yrs ago. My little nephew was up in the eng compartment and I felt it starting to rain- at least thats what I thought till he ask if I could help him zip up his pants.

Reminds me of the time that one of our local sporting groups was finishing building a new club house. The lead builder crawled underneath to connect the pipes on the men's urinal. The lads got a pot full of luke warm tea and poured it down the hole just as the job got under way. I think they put the fire hose on him to cool him down when he shot out from under the building! Cheers.
